[Lucifer]

[/color][/u][/size][/center]The beginning is always the one thing that changes, is it not? Always shifting and turning with the questions of man. Many humans believe it was started through the big bang others believe that their "God" had created life out of the goodness of his heart. Truth be told, no one knows the anything about the universe, only theories and speculations. Either way, this was enough truth for any being and this includes the two oldest of all, Gabriel and Lucifer. Gabriel and Lucifer were not their names, simply the titles they acquired over the years and letting them stick. They had so very many names, but to each other they were siblings, at least that's how they always saw each other. When their lives started, they were not completely alone, simply the oldest of all the beings. In the beginning, the two planes we know as Heaven and Hell were one and harmony presided over it. Like children, they began to search their new world, fascinated by all its wonders and began to test their own limits. Gabriel would say this is how hope and life started while Lucifer would only admit that it was the start of temptation itself. As other lower beings began to form, taking on the shapes of the firsts, Gabriel and the others taught these weaker beings how to live. The weaker beings instantly viewing them as gods of above. Sadly this thought did not please Gabriel as much as it did Lucifer who basked in its glory. Temptation was far too pleasurable for Lucifer to simply turn away from it like Gabriel had. Here the differences began.

Lucifer began to fall into the world of temptation and, some would say, evil as she began to see how weak these people truly were. Gabriel desired to help them through his kind acts while Lucifer helped them through harsher means. In her mind, Lucifer believed she was doing them a favor as she hurt them, made them suffer and struggle to get through life itself. Disagreeing with his sister, Gabriel turned against Lucifer and her ways of evil. Their mere clash in the higher plane caused it to split in two as Lucifer's half dropped into its own plane of existence, away from Gabriel and his Elysium. This is how the Underworld was born and from this split, the firsts choose to follow one of the two, breaking the once united group into two separate ones. Angels and Demons were created through a simple conflict between siblings and neither would simply back down.

In the Now...

Their conflict has spawned many religions and stories as these two 'gods' were twisted by the human eye into something they could use. However, Gabriel and Lucifer never really left Earth, nor did their followers as they manipulate, or help, everyone in the world in their own little ways. Every time someone suffers, it is by the hand of Lucifer herself and when kindness is given, it is by Gabriel. But there is so much more going on beneath the surface as both desire the other to be gone. A war between both planes of death, both looking for a way to bring the other plane to theirs and reunite its vast powers. And Earth? Well, Earth is trapped in the middle of this sibling rivalry gone oh so horribly wrong.[/ul]
